What Is FitCORE?

WHAT IS IT?

FitCORE is a lot like a bootcamp class, but better! The class has a 45-minute duration with workouts that are typically 20 minutes in length. Included before and after are a series of stretches and core-strengthening movements designed to prepare you for the workout ahead, tighten bellies, and cool down effectively so you can face the day with a win! The broad concept of the class will be to contribute to good health and elevated fitness with primarily body-weight movements, the use of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, rowers, jump ropes, and rings. These movements are all combined in a fun and unique manner every day to challenge you physically and mentally. Whether you’re an avid fitness fanatic or you haven’t engaged in exercise for a long time, your current skill level will be accommodated to deliver the best results. If you’re concerned about barbells, you don’t have to be; we will rarely use them.

WHO IS IT FOR?

FitCORE is for everybody! Our specialty is not specializing. If you’re an active CrossFitter, you can use the class as an extra challenge for the day or a way to get through the soreness from the WOD (Workout of the Day) the day before. If you train for marathons, adventure races, or other endurance bouts, you can utilize the class to get some much-needed cross-training for your major muscle groups. If you are involved in a strength program and need to get your heart-rate up a little bit to keep in peak shape, you’ll find plenty of that here. Maybe you play sports and want to improve in your capacity or maybe you are stuck behind a desk all day and need to feel alive again. Come on in! Maybe you’re a dedicated parent and just need some time to yourself. This class is for you. Maybe you haven’t worked out in a long time or ever, well, we WANT you to join for your health!

HOW DO WE DO IT?

FitCORE classes are lead by qualified, certified coaches with vast experience coaching individuals of all levels and capabilities to help them reach their goals. The class begins with dynamic stretching and a warm-up and leads into brief teaching and instruction on how to modify movements according to your ability. Then we go through a 20-minute workout that will raise the intensity to a proper level for EACH individual. Sometimes these workouts will be with partners or as a team, so you’ll make friends, too! Then, we finish with a cool-down stretch to give you good vibes and encourage better recovery. It’s a total length of 45 minutes and classes are offered 3 days per week. Check the schedule below!
